Your First Dance and Evening Reception

Creating the Right Atmosphere

Your first dance is one of the key moments of the evening, but it’s also often the point where the formal part of the wedding finishes and the party really begins.

I’ll work with you beforehand to make sure your first dance is ready and that we have a plan for what happens immediately afterwards. From there, the music can build naturally throughout the evening based around your choices, your guests and what’s working on the dance floor.

Requests are welcome on the night too. The aim isn’t to follow a rigid playlist, but to combine the music you’ve chosen with experience reading the room to create an evening that feels like your wedding.

Planning Before the Big Day

Good wedding entertainment starts well before I press play on the first song.

I’ll confirm the important details with you ahead of the wedding and work with the venue where required regarding access, setup and timings. All equipment is PAT tested and I carry full Public Liability Insurance, helping make the entertainment side of your wedding as straightforward as possible.

You’ll also deal directly with me throughout the booking process. From your initial enquiry and wedding consultation through to the evening itself, I’ll be the DJ you’re planning your wedding with and the DJ there on the day.

Tom was DJ at my 70th party , he was the best DJ I have heard (excuse the pun) in a long time, the fact that he sent a link to share for song requests was brilliant. The ages at Party was from 1 to 80+ Tom catered for everyone 60s, 70s, 80, right through to present time. He honestly made the best night even better. I would 100 percent recommend him and definitely use him again.
