Why Choose a DJ at The Square Tower?

The Square Tower is a venue unlike any other, and your entertainment should reflect that. From intimate ceremonies to energetic evening receptions, I work closely with you to ensure the music fits each moment of your event perfectly.

DJ Services Designed for Heritage Venues

Sound and Lighting That Respects the Space

Historic venues require a thoughtful approach to sound and lighting. My professional setup delivers clear, balanced audio that fills the space comfortably, ensuring speeches, background music and evening entertainment are all heard exactly as intended.

Lighting is used carefully to enhance the room rather than distract from it. Subtle effects and uplighting can be introduced to highlight architectural features and create a warm, elegant atmosphere as your event transitions into the evening.

Wireless microphones are available for vows, speeches and announcements, helping everything run smoothly without unnecessary clutter.

Venue Experience at The Square Tower

Having worked at Portsmouth heritage venues, I understand the logistics, access requirements and acoustics that come with historic spaces. This experience allows for a smooth setup and breakdown, coordinated closely with the venue team so your event runs seamlessly from start to finish.

This familiarity helps remove stress on the day and ensures your entertainment fits naturally into the venue’s schedule and layout.

Music Curated Around You and Your Guests

Your celebration should feel personal, not generic. I work with you in advance to understand your musical tastes, favourite songs and the overall feel you want to create.

From relaxed background music earlier in the event to a packed dance floor later in the evening, the music evolves naturally with your guests. You’re welcome to share must-play tracks and songs you’d prefer to avoid, ensuring the soundtrack truly reflects you.

Great communication beforehand, he was happy to liaise directly with the hotel. He set up without a fuss and was fully ready to go when the party started. Tom was friendly and professional throughout. Guests loved the Photobooth and props that came with it. Can’t recommend him highly enough. Thanks once again

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had Tom for our wedding and couldn’t be happier with his set. Using a selection of our own pre selected playlist and his own choices- it made for a wonderful evening of non-stop dancing, laughter and singalong anthems. Me and my partner would both like to send a special thanks for making our evening as memorable as it was. You read the room perfectly and got even the most stubborn of guests on the dance floor. 10/10.
