We had an incredible double-header weekend at the brilliant Broadoak Social Club, celebrating two amazing engagement parties—each with their own unique energy, crowd, and soundtrack!
Friday 18th July – Ruby & Dan’s Engagement
Thursday night was all about Ruby & Dan as they celebrated their engagement surrounded by family and friends. The atmosphere was electric from the start! Guests requested a brilliant blend of party classics, dance anthems, and house tracks that kept the floor moving all night long.
We wrapped up the evening with Dan’s special request—“Right Place, Right Time”—a perfect tune to close a night full of love, laughter, and dancefloor memories.
Saturday 20th July – Jordan & Megan’s Engagement and Jordan’s 30th
Two reasons to celebrate meant double the fun! Jordan & Megan’s engagement party also marked Jordan’s 30th birthday, and the vibe was nothing short of epic.
We kicked things off with some soulful Motown and Northern Soul classics to set the tone. As the night progressed, we shifted into high-energy dance covers of Paramore, before ending on a nostalgic high with Britpop and alternative bangers from My Chemical Romance, Fall Out Boy, and Panic! At The Disco—all hand-picked by Megan and Jordan. A top-tier playlist for a top-tier couple!
New Gear Shoutout
We also debuted our new RCF ART 915 speakers at both events—and we’re seriously impressed. The clarity, punch, and throw were outstanding, and they handled everything from smooth soul to heavy dance tracks with ease. These are definitely going to be a regular part of our rig moving forward.
